During the Fall semester of 2024 I took Intro to Engines class. In this class we learned all the basics of engine rebuilding and head machining. We applied all that we learned in the classroom to rebuilding a small block chevy.
In my Intro to Engines class I was given a used valve which I cleaned up. I reground the tip and the seating surface.
On a Ford Model T motor like this one I had to measure the tolerances of the babbitt rod bearing and remove shims to bring them back into spec.
This is the engine bay of my 1969 F100, when I got the truck in march of 2025 the motor was seized up. I soaked the cylinders in Marvel Mystery Oil and was able to free up the motor and get it running.
This is a picture of the motor in my 1941 Farmall Model B tractor. The motor in this was also sized up. I got the motor freed up and running after letting it set with Marvel Mystery Oil in the cylinders.
In this picture there is the broken crankshaft out of my minibike. I swapped the motor in the minibike to a larger one after this discovery.
Here is the inside of the 360FE in my 1973 F100. I swapped the two barrel intake for a four barrel intake. I also replaced the pushrods due to one being broken.

This is the motorcraft 2100 carburetor that was on my 1973 F100 which was the first big carburetor that I rebuilt. Before this I had rebuilt many carburetors for dirt bikes and lawnmowers.
Here is me in the process of removing the front clip from my 1973 F100. I had to do this so that I was able to drill out some of the broken exhaust manifold bolts and install headers.
This is the motor in a Yamaha WR250 dirt bike. Me and my dad rebuilt the top end due to it having low compression.
